THE IMPORTANCE OF HAND SURGERY
The increasing number of hand trauma, and congenital or acquired hand deformities, has resulted in a growing demand for orthopedic and reparative plastic surgery.
General surgery services have not always been able to respond to this demand, and so specialized hand services were created. The goal is to treat all hand trauma types. Each trauma is complex and unique, requiring experienced surgeons to carry out successful treatment.
CREATION OF HANDS ARE US
In this light, Michel NINOU MD created the hand surgery service at the clinique du Tonkin (Villeurbanne) in 1997. Pascal ROSTOUCHER MD joined him in 1999, and later Kamil ELKHOLTI MD in 2003.

Other surgeons joined the team quickly, to be able to offer permanent quality care, 24 hours a day every day of the year.
